
Rebecca Linder Hintze is an author, speaker, radio show host, and
family issues expert, who has worked in private practice for almost two
decades, completing thousands of private sessions. Her unique ability
to help clients unveil core belief patterns and facilitate the healing of
dysfunctional family patterns has made her a leading expert on family
issues.
In 2002, Rebecca self-published a workbook called It’s Time to Dance,
and sold out three printings. Her subsequent book Healing Your
Family History was published in October 2006 by Hay House with a
foreword by Stephen R. Covey, and is now sold in 37 countries and is
published in 7 languages. It is considered an international bestseller
and the book's contents have been the footprint for many recovery
programs throughout the world for individuals seeking to heal
destructive behavior patterns.
Healing Your Family History is endorsed by several famed experts,
including best-selling authors Christiane Northrup, M.D., James
Jones, Ph.D., and Marie Osmond.
A former broadcast journalist, Rebecca Hintze frequently lectures and
leads workshops in the United States and abroad in topics such as
“Strengthening Relationships,” “Overcoming Self-Defeating Behavior,”
“Healing Destructive Family Patterns,” and “Building a Better
Generation.”
Rebecca has worked in television and radio newsrooms
professionally in the Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C. markets and
she's been a guest on television and radio shows in the U.S. and
abroad during her book tours, including regular appearances on
ABC's "Let's Talk Live," and "Good Things Utah," as well as Retirement
Living Television's "Daily Cafe." She's been honored as a guest on
internationally recognized shows such as the CBS Evening News, as
well as the popular and longest running radio show in South Africa,
"Believe it or Not," with Kate Turkington. Additionally, she's been a
guest around the United States and the United Kingdom on various
morning and drive time radio talk shows. Rebecca also hosted her
own radio talk show, "Abundant Living," carried live via the internet
(and through syndicated stations).
In 2002, Rebecca began publishing an online column titled, Weekly
Wisdom. Today her articles are printed in various publications and
newspapers around the world, and one article in particular, "Building a
Better Generation," was published as a chapter in a book entitled,
"Audacious Creativity." The electronic publication of Weekly Wisdom is
a public service, and may be reprinted free of charge.
Rebecca is a graduate of Brigham Young University where she
received several awards for outstanding achievement. She has
pursued additional private course work in neural linguistic
programming, rapid-eye movement therapy, visual blueprint analysis,
emotional release therapy, muscle response testing, and holistic
health medicine.
Rebecca is a member of the Association of Mormon Counselors and
Psychotherapists (AMCAP) and The Society of Professional
Journalists. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints.
She and her husband live in the Washington, D.C., area with their four
children.
